Siberian spell continues to lash

QUETTA: Siberian cold spell continued to lash Quetta valley and other parts of the province for the last several days.

Siberian or north westerly winds commonly known as Kandahar winds are lashing the valley for the last several days.

It blew across the valley from 4 to 16 Knots. Minimum temperature has been reduced to minus 6.5 Celsius today while maximum was recorded at 12 Celsius. Kalat recorded minus 9 Celsius. Met office predicted increase in cold, hazy, fair and fine weather during the coming 48 to 72 hours.
