Rain, dust thundershower expected

Islamabad: The Met Office has forecast rain with dust thundershower at a few places of Upper Punjab, Hazara Division, Gilgit-Baltistan.

However, hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country. According to the Met Office, some pre-monsoon currents have started to penetrate in upper parts of Pakistan that would produce pre-monsoon rain-showers during the next 48 hours. Due to this expected rain/showers the heat wave conditions are likely to subside in Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir from Saturday. The second spell of pre-monsoon rain-showers is expected from 20th this month.
