Pakistan capable of dealing terrorists: Malik
ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Pakistan itself has the capability to launch offensive against terrorists.
In an interview with a private news channel, minister said that Pakistan will not tolerate any foreign intervention on its soil. We (Pak-US) are jointly fighting against the enemy but terrorists are taking the advantage due to the lack of a joint strategy. Pakistan has been extending all possible cooperation to the United States in its war on terrorism; therefore, the United States should respect the sovereignty of Pakistan. Rejecting the US allegations about ISI-Haqqani ties, Malik said that if the United States has any sort of information in this connection, should share that with Pakistan. And Pakistani forces will themselves take action. Minister also rejected the claims about the involvement of Pakistani intelligence agency in bomb explosion in Kabul and said Pakistan was against such acts.
