Man guns down wife, youth shot dead

Khairpur: A man shot dead his wife in a village near Khairpur on Monday. Accused Abdul Karim Phulpoto fired with pistol upon his wife Ms. Feroze Begum at village Danwaro in the jurisdiction of B-section police, killing her on the spot. Accused escaped after incident. B-section police reached on the spot, took body in to custody and later handed over to relatives after autopsy from civil hospital. Meanwhile, a youth killed over old enmity at Drib Mehar Shah village on Monday noon. Some armed persons started firing on a shop at Drib Mehar Shah in the jurisdiction of Tando Musti police station resulting on the spot death of a youth Ghulam Nabi Ujjan. Culprits run away from spot.

Arroyo daughter said to be expecting twins

GMA daughter Luli Arroyo, 40, is expecting twins from her three-year marriage with investment banker Luigi Bernas, according to an unconfirmed report from a Malacaang-friendly source.
