PPP MNA demands creation of Seraiki province

AhmedpurEast|: PPP MNA Arif Aziz Sheikh has demanded the restoration of former provincial status of Bahawalpur and creation of Seraiki province in the larger interest of Pakistan.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Qureshi Enterprizes,Sui Northern Gas Pipelines contractors office in Macchli Bazar last night, MNA claimed that almost all legislators hailing from South Punjab have also demanded of creation of new province as the biggest province of 950 million inhabitants of Punjab could not deliver goods to masses living in far-flung areas. He was confident that Hazara province will be established soon while PPP central leadership has been urged to restore the former provincial status of Bahawalpur as this demand is being backed by 12.5 million Bahawalpuri people. President Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran Mian Mohammad Younas, ex-Union Nazim Khalid Khan Baloch, District General Secretary PPP Bahawalpur Mohammad Ali Ahsan, Khursheed Bhatti Sheikh Saeed Ahmed,Khalid Jhulan and President Jamiat Al-Quresh Seth Islamuddin Quresh, local officers of Norther Sui Gas Pipelines SDO Fayyaz Cheema and others were present.
