China, Pakistan agreements augur well for development

Lahore: The agreements signed between China and Pakistan augur well for overall development in this region, noted Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Liu Jian.

He was speaking Monday MoU signing of Hybrid seed at a local hotel between Auriga group & Chinese Hubei seed company. Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal was also present. Jian said it was sign of deep friendship that many agreements were reached by the two countries in past few years in various sectors and will further strengthen all-season Pak-China friendship. Rana Iqbal said Pak-China friendship is a time-tested ever strong relationship. He urged agricultural scientists to benefit from Chinese advancement so that food related exports could be increased further. In the past we imported wheat but now we are self-sufficient.
