Police Disrupt Pak-India Match Screening At KU

Srinagar, In occupied Kashmir, police authorities have seized the broadcast equipment during the screening of semi final played between Pakistan and India at the Kashmir University cafeteria, triggering protests by students over the unjustified action.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a police posse arrived at the University cafeteria on Wednesday and seized the projector and other equipment used for screening the match, the students said. The police took away the equipment, which triggered massive protests from the students. The students raised slogans in favour of the Pakistani team. More than 150 students from various departments were watching the cricket match at the University cafeteria. The students condemned the brute and inhuman action of police and raised slogans against police and University authorities.
