Five Killed in Iraq Attacks
Iraqi officials say at least five people have been killed in a series of attacks on Tuesday.
Authorities say gunmen using silencers opened fire on a police patrol in Baghdad, killing three police officers.
Meanwhile, a series of explosions in the western city of Ramadi killed at least two people.
Investigators say the bombings, which included at least one suicide attack, took place near government buildings.
Overall violence in Iraq has been down since its height in 2006 and 2007. However, Iraqi and U.S. officials have expressed concern about Baghdad's ability to maintain security after U.S. forces withdraw at the end of the year.
