UK Willing To Perform DNA Tests Of IHK Unmarked Graves
Srinagar, The British Forensic experts have expressed willingness to help in the DNA profiling of those buried in the unmarked graves in the Kashmir valley.
According to Kashmir Media Service, recently, a human rights body of occupied Kashmir had drawn attention of the world to the presence of unmarked graves in the occupied territory and sought the help of British Forensic experts, a local news agency, API reported. The news agency, API, quoting sources from various human rights organisations, said that the British Forensic experts had expressed willingness to help in DNA profiling of the unknown buried bodies if the Indian government allowed them. The human rights organisation had asked the United Nations to press India to grant the permission, however, New Delhi has refused saying that it would not allow anyone to interfere in the internal matters of the country, the news agency said.
