Govt failed to curb poverty, target killing: Hanif Tayyab

KARACHI: The government has totally failed to control the unemployment, poverty, terrorism, target killing and implementation of better law enforcement situation in the country.

Some specific political leaders are being elected on the basis of strong political background as the head of the country, Baloch people has only the basic rights on the natural resources of Balochistan. This was stated by Haji Hanif Tayyab General Secretary Sunni Itthad Council Pakistan in a press conference at Karachi press club here on Friday. He said that terrorism affected every part of the country. Political leadership of Pakistan is being fallowed the dictation of America and IMF. Corrupt leaders were elected on high posts to tackle the problems of the people, he added.

Answering to a question he highlighted that prices of goods are increasing day by day while on the other side unemployment and poverty increased in last few years. The political leaders of this democratic government are senseless and not keenly interested to solve the problems of common men. Haji Hanif said that Sunni Itthad council has organized ISTAKHAM-E- PAKISTAN conference in Lahore few days back. The Punjab government tried their best to stop the Ullama to avoid organizing this conference. More than one hundred Ullama was arrested by Punjab police before the conference. Answering to another question he pointed out that Supreme Court of Pakistan should reject the membership of Azam Khan Sawati from senate. Azam Khan Sawati blamed on Ex- Religious Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi that he was involved in corruption in Hajj Scandal. Supreme Court and Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Should take action against senator Azam khan Sawati, Haji Hanif Tayyab demanded. He condemned that on the ban on Hijjab in France and the American and NATO forces attack on the innocent people of Libya. The Sunni Itthad council will take part in the ne! xt elect ion of the country, he further added.
